Horseback Ride on Vacation
Nestled in the heart of the luscious tropical jungles of Cancun, Hacienda Andalucía Equestrian & Polo Club sustains traditions of gallantry, romanticism and culture by providing tourists unique tours and attractions and the opportunity to immerse themselves into real Mexican traditions and history.
Hacienda Andalucía conserves the original splendor of Mexico’s traditional haciendas with arched portals, rich architectural elements and large open areas. This hidden jewel offers its visitors the unique opportunity to learn about a variety of purebred horses as well as different traditional Mexican folklore.

As visitors ride purebred horses led by experienced guides, they will discover the extraordinary sounds and colors of the regional nature. The pleasant tour guides are qualified horsemen with ample experience and fluent in four languages.
The horseback riding tour consists of visiting three authentic Mexican haciendas in Cancun —Quinta “Las Marias”, La Esperanza, and Hacienda Andalucía—as visitors bask in the glory of tradition.
The stop at Hacienda la Esperanza includes a cultural explanation of the purebred horses featured in original Mexican dressage shows and exclusive polo competitions, and free time to explore the property and interact with other animals in the Hacienda. Guests then return to Quinta “Las Marias” to enjoy an exquisite traditional Mexican lunch and refreshments.
In addition, Hacienda Andalucía offers polo and horseback jumping lessons, Mexican escaramuza-style riding instruction, horseback trips, towed carriage rides, and pony riding for kids.

Although it’s been almost four centuries since the first vaqueros, or cowboys, roamed the open plains of Texas, California and New Mexico, these traditions are well-preserved in Hacienda Andalucía, where history and tradition blend together to offer its visitors a unique vacation experience.
Hacienda Andalucía sounds lovely, especially the horseback riding, I have been meaning to learn to ride and this seems liek a great way to do it.
