March 12th, 2010– Their Royal Highness of Denmark HRH Prince Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian and HRH Princess Marie Agathe Odile Cavallier enjoyed several days resting in the Mexican Caribbean.

The royal couple took advantage of their official visit to Mexico to enjoy the attractions of the region and experience the natural features of our resort recognized internationally for its sustainable tourism practices and conservation of the environment.

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie were received at our exclusive resort by Romarico Arroyo, member of the administrative council of the Tres Ríos Group and by his distinguished wife Cristina Alcayaga.

The youngest son of HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and fourth in the succession line was very pleased with the facilities and services that were provided by our eco-friendly resort and happily signed the distinguished guest book.

During their stay, the royal couple took advantage of the Ya’ax Che Spa services and toured the Tres Ríos Nature Park, where they were able to admire the cenotes of the property as well as the exotic plants and animals.

Our Executive Chef Oscar Orbe was in charge of preparing diverse gastronomic creations for the couple’s visit.

During their visit, the royal couple met with President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa and took a bicycle ride through Historic Downtown in Mexico City with the governor of the state Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon.
