Hacienda Tres Ríos Pledges Mangrove Tree for Every Facebook Like
The countdown for the “1 Fan = 1 Mangrove” campaign begins on October 7, 2010.
To encourage environmental preservation and promote the travel destination, the Riviera Maya green resort has pledged to donate one mangrove tree for every new fan that clicks “Like” on its Facebook page.
Hacienda Tres Ríos currently has 3,385 in its Facebook Page with a goal of increasing its number of “Likes” to 6,385 and donating 3,000 mangrove trees to the reforestation program in Cancun. The mangroves will be donated to aid the Cancun reforestation efforts.
The green resort is encouraging all its friends, family, and past guests to invite their friends. To invite friends, simply click on the “Suggest to Friends” link under the main page photo.
