Outstanding Performance in the Resort & Vacation Industry

ARDA Awards

The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) emerged on the scene 40 years ago as an advocate of the resort development and vacation ownership industry by supporting its growth through legislative, public relations and education programs, and ethical compliance.  Members build mutually beneficial professional relationships with industry leaders and identify their competitive advantage.

ARDA established its ARDY awards program to honor resorts that achieve outstanding performance in various areas of development, such as resort operations, design, advertising, sales, and employment practices.  Their aim is to honor those whose achievements rise above industry standards, inspiring them to reach new heights.

In 2011 four ARDYs were awarded to Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park:

  • Gold ARDY — Environmental practices and tourism quality
  • Silver ARDY — Best Social Media Campaign
  • Silver ARDY — Best Food and Beverage Program
  • Silver ARDY — Best Marketing Program

In 2010, Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park was recognized by ARDA for its outstanding performance and received eight ARDYs:

  • Gold ARDY — Resort Amenities: Tres Ríos Nature Park & Tours
  • Gold ARDY — Advertising Brochure: Hacienda Tres Ríos Pride Book via Brand Tango
  • Silver ARDY — Resort Architecture
  • Silver ARDY — Site Plan Design & Utilization
  • Silver ARDY — Interior Design: New Resort Unit — La Herencia Suites
  • Silver ARDY — Signage
  • Silver ARDY — New Owner / Member Package
  • Silver ARDY — Special Event: World Travel Awards

2009 ARDYs awarded to Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park:

  • Gold ARDY — Green Initiatives Promotional Materials
  • Gold ARDY — Logo Design
  • Silver ARDY — Resort Architecture
  • Silver ARDY — Advertising Campaign via Brand Tango
The resulting competition for industry recognition has led to the emergence of resorts providing exceptional quality and service.  By stimulating recurrent, positive developments in the resort and vacation ownership industry, travelers are the fortunate recipients of these achievements.
