The Green Globe Certification was established in 1993 for the travel and tourism industry.  As the premier worldwide certification label for sustainable management and operations, their aim is to introduce and strengthen environmental and cultural criteria and corporate social responsibility according to international best practices.

Distintivo H

Distintivo H (or Distinctive H) was founded in 1988 by the Ministry of Tourism to promote healthy tourism in México through the implementation of exceptional food safety and quality standards for food service providers.  It enforces recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) for food service provider hygiene, and safe food and beverage storage, transportation, preparation, and services.
